RF Test Supervisor

Role

We're looking for an experienced RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave Test Supervisor to join the management team. In this role, you will oversee all testing and validation of next generation amplifier and frequency converter products. In addition to managing a team of technicians, you will be expected to collaborate with a cross-function of teams to ensure production quality, on-time delivery and continual improvements on operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage test plan and schedule
  • Oversee and support daily testing and repair requirements: monitor and track daily output, troubleshoot issues on the spot and elevate challenges to appropriate Engineers as required
  • Ensure compliance to specific test requirements and test methods
  • Perform appropriate in process inspections and tests such as workmanship, dimensional, and interface gauging in accordance with product and process specifications
  • Maintain integrity of labor reporting data by reviewing time and attendance records, ensuring all work time is accounted for and resolving discrepancies
  • Monitor, evaluate and grow the job performance/results of individual technicians, and of the overall team
  • Collaborate with QA and Engineering to continuously improve product quality and overall process efficiency

Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor's/Associates degree with 5+ years of test supervisor experience
  • Must pass J-STD-001 Class 3 workmanship inspections
  • Strong knowledge of electrical test methodologies, equipment and result validation criteria
  • Strong knowledge of high power / high frequency RF circuitry testing in amplifier and converter products (Ka-Band and higher) – familiarity with GaN is a plus
  • Must be an effective leader, strong communicator and analytical thinker
  • High initiative and good problem-solving skills are critical
  • US citizen preferred, Permanent resident required
