Experienced RF Engineer

Role

We're looking for an experienced RF Engineer who thrives on solving tough challenges. You will work alongside the Chief Engineer to design and develop next generation high power amplifier and converter products. In the role, you will be responsible for advanced RF circuit design and prototyping in high-frequencies, Ka-Band or greater.

You will be expected to learn quickly, work independently and eventually own streams of work within short order. We’re looking to grow this position into a senior role managing end-to-end design planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to determine specifications for new products
• Lead circuit design and simulation of prototypes
• Develop and test prototypes for key performance criteria
• Provide full testing/tuning methodology for production team
• Support clients with technical guidance

Requirements

• BSEE required, MSEE preferred
• 6+ years of strong, hands-on RF circuit design experience, with emphasis in Ka-band and higher frequencies – familiarity with GaN is a plus
• Experience using RF test equipment is required, as well as CST and/or ADS for simulations
• High initiative, attention to detail and good troubleshooting skills are essential
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• US citizen preferred, Permanent resident required
