Jersey Microwave's Frequency Block Converters have been designed for Commercial and Military applications. Our expertise in the design and development of all of the sub-components, PLDROs, Amplifiers, Mixer assemblies, Filter design and integrated assemblies have given us the solid base needed to develop this high performance product. With the introduction of the wideband L-Band modems, the Jersey Microwave Frequency Block Converter is poised for the future communication architecture. These are modules that convert L-Band to C, X, Ku or Ka-Band, or from C, X, Ku or Ka-Band to L-Band, and that are powered from a single DC power source. Each module includes a PLDRO that is either phase-locked to a 5, 10 or 50 MHz external reference (custom references available), or runs on the internal reference. The modules operate over a wide temperature range. These converters are intended for use in Intelsat, Eutelsat and other satellite communications systems.
Jersey Microwave's Frequency Block Upconverters translate L-Band frequencies to C, X, Ku or Ka-Band signals. Standard frequency block units are available in all four bands (others upon request) and high performance units are available in X and Ka-Band.
